Who we are
Accounting, explained properly
Cedar Blue Accountants is based in Dartford and works with clients right across the UK. We handle the compliance work every business needs — bookkeeping, accounts, tax returns, payroll — and the advisory work that decides where a business goes next.
What we try to do differently is explain it. Accountancy has an unhelpful habit of hiding behind its own vocabulary, and clients end up nodding along to advice they haven’t really understood. If we can’t explain a recommendation in plain English, we take that as a sign we haven’t thought it through well enough yet.
We also try to be reachable. A question that takes ninety seconds to answer shouldn’t wait three days for a scheduled call.

Our aim is to meet clients’ current needs and the ones coming down the line — because the advice a start-up needs is not the advice a fifteen-year-old firm needs, and the transition between the two catches a lot of businesses out.
